We are delighted to announce that Wingham Teachers Association has signed on as a major sponsor of Wingham Sesquicentenary of Public Education. Wingham Teachers Association boasts over one hundred members, most of whom have taught at one or more of Wingham's public schools during their teaching careers. WTA's generous support of the Sesquicentenary celebrations is a indication of the faith these former and current teachers have in the continuing excellence of public education in Wingham.

In addition to Wingham Teachers Association, we have pleasure in welcoming Greater Taree City Council and Coles Supermarket, Wingham as supporters of our Sesquicentenary events. Their generous contributions will assist us in staging a memorable celebration to mark 150 years of public education in Wingham.
